JULY 23 – 29, 2017, WK 30

During each week of 2017, a (1) devotional consisting of a reading (or listening) from Scripture, a (2) New City Catechism question and answer (, a (3) primary scripture passage behind that Q&A and a scripture to consider in prayer, a (4) prayer project for the week, and then finally, a (5) song of the month, will be posted to and to the “Devotional” portion of the Reformation Church App. On each Sunday following the devotional, the New City Catechism Q&A and the song of the month (or a song from a previous month) will be used during morning worship service.

  1. Read

Or listen to Bible Reading for the day in the Reformation Church App (Isaiah 62-66, Nahum 1, Acts 18:18-23:11, Psalm 97-100, Proverbs 21:1-7) Here’s an excellent overview of the remaining 26 chapters of Isaiah which we’re currently reading through:

  2. Memorize

What is faith in Jesus Christ? (Kidz Memory in Blue)

Faith in Jesus Christ is acknowledging the truth of everything that God has revealed in his Word, trusting in him, and also receiving and resting on him alone for salvation as he is offered to us in the gospel.

  3. Meditate

Galatians 2:20 I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.

Pray that you would be willing to give up your time, money or convenience to ensure that others have what they need.” – Rachel Jones, 5 Things to Pray for Your Church, p. 21.

Pray for brothers and sisters in directory with last names starting with P, Q, R.
