What does God require in the first, second, and third commandments? (Kidz Memory in Blue)
First, that we know and trust God as the only true and living God. Second, that we avoid all idolatry and do not worship God improperly. Third, that we treat God’s name with fear and reverence, honoring also his Word and works.

Meditate
Deuteronomy 6:13-14 Fear the LORD your God, serve him only and take your oaths in his name. Do not follow other gods, the gods of the peoples around you. ou shall have no other gods before me.

1 Peter 2:9-10, “You are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light. Once you were not a people, but now you are God’s people; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.”

Pray
“Thank God that he has called each member of your church ‘out of darkness into his wonderful light.’ Take a few moments to thank God for the way in which he called some specific people you know. Pray that your church would increasingly ‘declare the praises’ of God by living distinctively and speaking the good news boldly.” Rachel Jones, 5 Things to Pray for Your Church, p. 13.
Pray for brothers and sisters in directory with last names starting with A, B, C.
