MONDAY, April 2 – SUNDAY, APRIL 8, 2018 (WK 14)

During each week of 2018, a (1) devotional consisting of a reading (or listening) from Scripture, a (2) New City Catechism question and answer (, a (3) primary scripture passage behind that Q&A and a scripture to consider in prayer, a (4) prayer project for the week, and then finally, a (5) song of the month, will be posted to and to the “Devotional” portion of the Reformation Church App. On each Sunday following the devotional, the New City Catechism Q&A and the song of the month (or a song from a previous month) will be used during morning worship service.

  • Read

Or listen to Bible Reading for the day in the Reformation Church App (Exodus 32-38, John 4:46-6:71, Psalm 45-49, Proverbs 15:5-18).

Take a few minutes and watch this overview of John 1-12:

  • Memorize

Did God create us unable to keep his law? (Kidz Memory in Blue)

No, but because of the disobedience of our first parents, Adam and Eve, all of creation is fallen; we are all born in sin and guilt, corrupt in our nature and unable to keep God’s law.

Romans 5:12 Therefore, just as sin came into the world through one man, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men because all sinned.
